Job summary

AsiaCruit, Inc. is seeking a Power & Mechatronics Engineer to develop and integrate power systems for advanced robotic platforms in New Delhi.

You will design BMS for high-discharge packs, test QDD actuators, and create isolated DC-DC boards while coordinating with partners on wiring and interfaces. The role requires 4–6 years of relevant experience, strong EMI/EMC and thermal management knowledge, and hands-on hardware integration across electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with high-discharge battery pack design, power electronics, motor dynamometer testing, and wiring harness engineering.
• Strong understanding of EMI/EMC mitigation and the thermal characteristics of dynamic brushless DC (BLDC) motors.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware integration issues across electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design smart Battery Management Systems (BMS) for high-discharge lithium battery packs that support dynamic power demands of quadruped robots.
• Evaluate, test, and characterize Quasi-Direct Drive (QDD) actuators under high-torque and impact conditions.
• Develop isolated DC-DC power regulation boards to minimize motor switching noise affecting LiDAR power rails.
• Coordinate with external engineering and university partners on wiring harnesses, voltage requirements, and signal compatibility across subsystems.
• Identify and address power integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal management issues affecting robotic hardware performance.
