Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in Pune, Maharashtra, seeks a power electronic engineer to lead the design of inverter and converter solutions for a range of applications.

You will drive the hardware development life cycle from requirements to verification, qualification and certification, selecting switching devices and gate drivers, and applying Si, SiC and GaN technologies to improve efficiency and performance. You will troubleshoot systems and perform FMEAs and worst‑case analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing.
• Experience in designing and implementing different AC-DC, DC-DC converters & motor inverters for different applications, including the selection of switching devices, gate driver selection, modulation techniques and filter design.
• Knowledge of Si and Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) power semiconductors and their application in power electronics to improve efficiency and performance.
• Ability to integrate power electronic systems into larger electrical systems, understanding system-level interactions
• Proficiency in troubleshooting power electronic systems, conducting failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues and improve product reliability.

Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic design especially in Inverter and converters design
