Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Bangalore is seeking a Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and deliver data-driven reporting solutions for complex customer requirements. You will analyze requirements, build dashboards, and ensure data quality and performance.

The role emphasizes data integration, financial reporting, and release management for a software product, using Power BI, Power Apps, DAX, SQL Server, and related data tooling.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years’ work experience in Software Engineering especially in professional software product development.
• Proficient in data integration, report development, and data transformation using Power BI.
• Customized reports to meet specific business requirements and user preferences.
• Designed & Developed Financials, OPEX, CAPEX & Taxation reports & used Power apps screen for any Manual Adjustment made by the users for Model Predicted values based on the historic actuals.
• Optimized data models for query performance and report loading speed, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Used Power Query to transform and clean data, ensuring it's ready for consumption
• Incorporate knowledge of drill-through, drill-down, and filtering capabilities for enhanced user interactivity.
• Experience in Software Product Release Management
• Good at Power BI, Power Apps, DAX, SQL Server, T-SQL, Data Warehousing, MS-Excel, Power Query, PowerPivot, Tabular Model, SSIS, SSAS.

Responsibilities

• Requirement analysis and design of software solutions based on requirements and architectural /design guidelines.
• Implementation of features and/or bug-fixing and delivering solutions in accordance with coding guidelines and on-time with high quality.
• Identification and implementation of unit and integration tests to ensure solution addresses customer requirements, and quality, security requirements of product are met.
• Performing code review and creation / support for relevant documentation (requirement/design/test specification).
• Ensuring integration and submission of solution into software configuration management system, within committed delivery timelines.
• Performing regular technical coordination / review with stake holders and ensuring timely reporting and escalations if any.
