Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking a Power BI Developer to join our analytics team in the Mumbai area (Gujarat, Mumbai, Pune). The role targets 3+ years of hands-on BI experience to transform data into actionable dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining Power BI data visuals, ETL data preparation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust insights across the business.

Key duties and responsibilities

The ideal candidate will transform raw data into insightful and visually appealing dashboards and reports that drive business decisions. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, report creation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualification and Experience

• 1. Report Development and Visualization:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs and align with stakeholders' requirements.
• 2. Data Preparation and Transformation:
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
  • Optimize data models for performance and usability in Power BI.
• 3. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical support to users for Power BI-related tasks.
• 4. Data Integration and Connectivity:
  • Connect Power BI to diverse data sources like SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Ensure secure and reliable data connections.
• 5. Quality Assurance:
  • Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy in reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• 6. Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor and enhance dashboard performance.
  • Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices, implementing new functionalities to improve reporting

Skills Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and visualization.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modelling).
• Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and workflows.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
