Job summary

Axis My India is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that support data‑driven decision making. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and management to translate requirements into insightful visuals.

Ideal candidates have strong hands‑on Power BI, DAX, data modeling, and SQL skills, with experience connecting to various data sources and optimizing performance. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements.
• Build efficient data models using Power BI Desktop.
• Write and optimize DAX measures and calculations.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (Excel, APIs, GCP sources, etc.).
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling using Power Query.
• Ensure report accuracy, performance optimization, and data refresh scheduling.
• Implement row‑level security (RLS) and manage datasets, workspaces, and gateways.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and data flows.
• Troubleshoot issues and support users with Power BI solutions.

Preferred / Good To Have

• Exposure to Power BI Service, Power Automate
• SQL understanding, Data Warehousing (OLAP, Star Schema)
• Prior experience in analytics for large datasets or enterprise reporting
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis (optional)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field
