Weekday AI in Kochi is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced BI solutions that transform complex data into insights.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years hands-on Power BI experience, expertise in DAX, Power Query, and M language, and a proven ability to translate business requirements into high-performance reports.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI report and dashboard development.
• Strong knowledge of DAX including filter context and row context; measures and calculated columns; variables and iterators; time-intelligence calculations; calculation groups; DAX performance optimisation.
• Strong experience with Power Query and M language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Translate business and reporting requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Develop robust and scalable Power BI data models for analytical reporting.
• Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and calculations to support business requirements.
• Work extensively with filter context and row context in DAX.
• Use variables, iterators, and advanced DAX techniques to build sophisticated analytical solutions.
• Develop time-intelligence calculations for trend, period-over-period, and comparative analysis.
• Implement and maintain calculation groups where required.
• Optimise DAX expressions and Power BI models for improved report performance.
• Use Power Query and M language for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and preparation.
• Identify and resolve performance issues across reports, data models, and DAX calculations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, usability, and reliability of BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and refine reporting solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards and reporting environments.
