Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking an experienced BI Engineer for Bengaluru-based roles across India with clients. You will design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

Candidate should have 7+ years in BI/analytics, strong SQL and DAX skills, and experience with SSAS/SSRS/SSIS, data modeling, and security. You’ll collaborate with UX/UI teams and clients to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven 7+ years in BI analytics and reporting.
• Experience designing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong SQL and DAX skills.
• Experience with SSAS/SSRS/SSIS and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models, ensuring compatibility with data warehouse standards and supporting both tabular and multidimensional models.
• Connect to diverse data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence, and implement advanced calculations using DAX to enhance reporting accuracy.
• Architect reporting solutions based on client requirements, translating wireframes and requirement documents into scalable analytics solutions.
• Implement and manage row-level security, integrating analytics with data governance, quality, and security platforms to ensure compliance and data protection.
• Optimize dashboard and query performance to efficiently handle large and multiple datasets, ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design impactful visualizations, leveraging Power BI product capabilities for enhanced user experience.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges, deliver tailored analytics solutions, and ensure high-quality client outputs.
