Job summary

Weekday 1 is seeking an experienced Power BI Senior Developer to design, build, and optimize BI reports for enterprise clients across Bengaluru, Pune, and Gurgaon. The role requires hands-on work with Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps, plus strong data modeling and DAX skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps.
• Experience with BI engineering projects and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of SSAS/SSRS/SSIS and data modeling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards for stakeholders.
• Build and optimize Analysis Services models, supporting tabular and multidimensional schemes.
• Connect to diverse sources, transform data, and implement DAX calculations for accuracy.
• Architect reporting solutions from client requirements into scalable analytics.
• Implement row-level security and integrate analytics with governance and security tooling.
• Optimize dashboards and queries for large datasets and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to craft impactful visualizations using Power BI features.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
2. 2. Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models, ensuring compatibility with data warehouse standards and supporting both tabular and multidimensional models
3. 3. Connect to diverse data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence, and implement advanced calculations using DAX to enhance reporting accuracy
4. 4. Architect reporting solutions based on client requirements, translating wireframes and requirement documents into scalable analytics solutions
5. 5. Implement and manage row-level security, integrating analytics with data governance, quality, and security platforms to ensure compliance and data protection
6. 6. Optimize dashboard and query performance to efficiently handle large and multiple datasets, ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs
7. 7. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design impactful visualizations, leveraging Power BI product capabilities for enhanced user experience
8. 8. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges, deliver tailored analytics solutions, and ensure high-quality client outputs
