Job summary

Rays TechServ Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development. The candidate will design scalable BI solutions, perform data integration, optimization, and deployment across enterprise sources.

The role requires 4–7 years of BI experience, hands-on Power BI development, and ability to work independently. Full-time position based in Gujarat, India with opportunities to contribute to global data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Proven experience building end-to-end Power BI solutions independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop efficient data models using star-schema architecture, fact tables, and dimension tables.
• Write advanced DAX measures and calculated columns for complex reporting requirements.
• Build reusable data transformation and ETL processes using Power Query (M).
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including Excel, CSV, SharePoint Online, and other enterprise data systems.
• Implement automated data ingestion, cleansing, validation, and transformation processes.
• Handle complex data relationships, date transformations, and large datasets.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Configure scheduled data refresh and manage reports in Power BI Service.
• Implement data-quality checks, error handling, and reconciliation processes.
• Manage report publishing, workspace configuration, and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot data integration, refresh, and reporting issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and support testing and deployment.
