Job summary

PwC India is seeking a Power BI Expert to transform raw data into actionable insights. You will own the full lifecycle—from connecting to data sources and building robust data models to designing intuitive, high-impact dashboards for executive leadership.

You will develop and maintain Power BI reports, write complex DAX, perform ETL with Power Query, optimize performance, and implement Row-Level Security to protect data across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within the Power BI ecosystem.
• Expert-level Power Query (M) and SQL skills.
• Deep understanding of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Portfolio showing clean UI/UX and data storytelling.
• Experience with Power BI Service, Premium capacities, and Gateway management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)data from diverse sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, Azure) using Power Query.
• Optimize report performanceby refining data models and minimizing DAX calculation overhead.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS)to ensure data privacy across different departments.

Required Technical Skills:

• Experience:5+ years specifically within the Power BI ecosystem.
• Data Prep:Expert-level Power Query (M) and SQL skills.
• Modelling:Deep understanding of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Design:A strong portfolio demonstrating clean UI/UX and data storytelling.
