Job summary

Mobilution It Systems in Bangalore seeks an IAC and Application DBA to design, build and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform and cloud templates. You will automate provisioning and deployment of cloud resources and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.

The role involves database design, data architecture, and data modeling for Postgres, SQL Server, and other database systems in an AWS environment, with scripting in PowerShell, Python, and Bash as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of Database Administration experience with Postgres, SQL Server, and other databases in AWS environment.
• 3+ years of experience with IAC - Terraform, Github actions, GitLab, Powershell, Python, scripting.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP.
• Experience in database design, data architecture, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

About the job IAC and Application DBA

Role Overview:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation.

Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

Strong knowledge of Git-based source control and branching strategies.

The DBA in the Database Engineering team will be responsible for database administration for Postgres, SQL Server, and No-SQL database management systems, etc.

The DBA role will be responsible for database design, data architecture, and data modeling.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP.

The DBA will evaluate, configure, and install database management systems thru end to end automation.

The DBA will be involved in database design and database release processes.

Required Skills:

IAC – Terraform, Python, Powershell, Postgres, Github Actions, GIT.

Good to have:

SQL Server, Database security, GitHub, ErStudio, Jira, ITIL tools

Communication Skills:

Good experience in a cloud-based database engineering ecosystem like AWS.

Understanding of scalable computing systems, data architecture/data modeling, software architecture, database structures, and algorithms.

Working proficiency in a Linux environment.
