Job summary

Mobilution It Systems in Bangalore is seeking a capable IAC and Application DBA. You will design, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and cloud-native templates.

You will automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of cloud infrastructure, and build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments while collaborating with DB teams, application teams and security personnel in AWS/GCP environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DBA experience with Postgres, SQL Server or similar databases in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with IaC using Terraform and cloud templates.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.

About the job IAC and Application DBA

Role Overview:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation.

Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

Strong knowledge of Git-based source control and branching strategies.

The DBA in the Database Engineering team will be responsible for database administration for Postgres, SQL Server, and No-SQL database management systems, etc.

The DBA role will be responsible for database design, data architecture, and data modeling.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP.

The DBA will evaluate, configure, and install database management systems thru end to end automation.

The DBA will be involved in database design and database release processes.

Required Skills: IAC – Terraform, Python, Powershell, Postgres, Github Actions, GIT.

Good to have: SQL Server, Database security, GitHub, ErStudio, Jira, ITIL tools

Communication Skills: Ability to lead projects, multi-tasking, ability to work with application development, infrastructure, operational, and information security teams.

Location: Candidate should be based in Bangalore.

About You

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related fields preferred.

3 plus years of Database Administration experience with Postgres, SQL Server, and any other database platforms in AWS Environment.

3 plus years of experience in IAC-Terraform, Github actions, GitLab, Powershell, Python, Scripting.

Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP.

Good experience in Database Management, Database Administration in an AWS environment.

Good experience in a cloud-based database engineering ecosystem like AWS.

Understanding of scalable computing systems, data architecture/data modeling, software architecture, database structures, and algorithms.

Working proficiency in a Linux environment.
