Job summary

Marcura is seeking an Automation Specialist to analyze and automate data management, delivering insightful reports and hands-free, accurate processes with slick UIs and robust data stores.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering and at least 1 year of automation experience with VBA, Python, AI, or related technologies, plus knowledge of UI and backend coding. You will work on cross-functional data automation projects across the organization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes, small-scale apps, and scripts to automate Excel and streamline PP processes
• Develop and maintain MS Office applications, with frontend and backend using MS technologies
• Design, configure, and implement enhancements, fixes, and new systems with proper configuration management
• Follow development best practices to deliver high-quality automation solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and guides
• Define system scope and objectives tailored to PP users
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and revise existing system logic for performance and accuracy
• Maintain and upgrade MS Excel/Access VBA apps translating requirements into solutions
• Perform OO analysis, design, and rigorous testing

Job description

Purpose :

Be our Automation Specialist. Analyze and automate data management to streamline operations, deliver insightful reports, and ensure hands-free, accurate processes with slick UIs and robust data stores. If you excel at using the latest tech independently to deliver quality automation, this role is for you!

Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

• 1+ years' experience in automation, VBA, Python, AI, or similar technologies applied to business processes
• Strong understanding of data management, UI development, and backend coding
• Continuous learner passionate about adopting cutting-edge automation tools and techniques

Work Experience

Clarify the minimum years of total work experience and other relevant work experience required to be able to perform the job.

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automation, preferred VBA, RPA, AI, OCR, JavaScript, power automate or similar technology-driven process improvement
• Experience managing large data sets and deploying real-time solutions
• Automation projects in a business process environment
• Experience reviewing and optimizing processes to design hands-free, accurate automation solutions
• Exposure to working in environments without direct integration to customer systems

Skills and Knowledge
