Indicative compensation range: INR 20-25 LPA.

Purpose of the Role:

This role is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, serving a leading card issuer bank. The Portfolio Specialist will design and execute data‑driven strategies to optimize the credit and debit card lifecycle. You will focus on driving customer acquisition, activation, and incremental spend while ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and card‑network rules.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 6–8 years in Cards and/or Payments managing portfolio optimization and lifecycle programs.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of card economics (interchange, rewards liability, revolve/repay dynamics) and credit risk fundamentals (line management, underwriting).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of card network operating rules, data privacy, and fair marketing practices.
• Strategic Communication: Ability to translate complex analytics into clear business decisions.
• Project Delivery: Proven track record of managing multiple high‑priority initiatives.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Tools: Proficiency in campaign management platforms and data visualization tools.
• Frameworks: Knowledge of CLM and NPV/CLV modelling.
• Industry: Strong grasp of emerging trends like embedded finance and digital wallets.
