Job summary

Quest Global seeks a skilled Java/ALM Polarion developer to join our engineering services team in Bengaluru. You will implement Polarion customizations, integrate with REST APIs, and design reports and dashboards to visualize project data, while contributing to end-to-end software lifecycle activities.

The role requires strong Core Java and Java Scripting experience, familiarity with ALM workflows, OSLC concepts, and data analysis using Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Java development and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop polarion customizations such as workflow automations, trigger scripts, custom live reports development, macros development etc.
• Good understanding of ALM tool form Siemens Polarion as an End user, Super User and customizations development.
• Basic understanding of OSLC APIs & OSLC based integrations.
• Applying SDK/APIs understanding to develop integrations.
• Evaluate, update, and optimize existing ALM workflows.
• Design and implement tailored reports and dashboards to visualize project data and metrics within Polarion.
• Ability to integrate Polarion with other systems using REST APIs, web services, and OSLC standards.
• Executing projects with End-to-End software development lifecycle using Agile, defect tracking, testing, requirements management.
• Extensive hands-on experience on Core Java, Java Scripting, REAT APIs based integrations development.
• Good understanding of SDLC processes and all ALM phases.
• Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation and macros, and potentially VBA programming.
• Familiarity with SQL database or related querying database.
• Should have exposure in configuration management activities such as creating baseline, labeling, version controlling, releasing and change control (PR/ECR) using ALM/PLM tools.
• Cross functional Interaction with all the teams for successful completion of the Problem Reporting, Change Control and Release workflows.
• Exposure the DO-178 & DO-254 Configuration Management objectives/activities.
