Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Polarion ALM Developer for Hyderabad. The role focuses on implementing and customizing Polarion ALM requirements management, including workflows, forms, LiveDocs, traceability, and reporting.

The candidate should have strong Java development experience, hands-on work with Polarion plugins, and familiarity with common development tools and databases. Hyderabad location preferred, with flexibility for other locations in India.

Qualifications

• Experience in Core Java development (Servlets, Plug-Ins).
• Polarion ALM customization and configuration of workflows, forms, and reports.
• Configuration of Polarion work items, LiveDocs, and traceability links.
• Designing Polarion reports and dashboards.
• Development of custom scripts, extensions, and plugins using Java, JavaScript, or Velocity.
• Working knowledge of development environments like Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio, VSCode; basic knowledge in Subversion and PostgreSQL.

Role- Polarion ALM Developer

Required Technical Skill Set- Polarion Requirements Management– Implementation and Customization (Java/ J2EE / HTML 5 / CSS)

Desired Experience Range- 5+ years of relevant exp

Location of Requirement -Hyderabad (preferred) or any other location in India

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Experience in Core Java Development experience (Servlets, Plug-Ins)
• Experience in customization and configuration of Polarion ALM workflows, forms, and reports
• Experience in configuration of Polarion work items, LiveDocs, and traceability links
• Experience in designing of Polarion reports and dashboards
• Experience in development of Custom scripts, extensions, and plugins using Java, JavaScript, or Velocity
• Working knowledge of development environments like Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio, VSCode. Basic Knowledge in Subversion and PostgreSQL.

Good-to-Have

• Experience in the integration of Polarion with external tools (e.g., Teamcenter, JIRA, SAP/HANA, Git, MATLAB)
• Polarion Administration and Maintenance experience
• Knowledge in C#, Python Scripting
• Experience in Web Technologies (AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, NodeJS etc.).
