Job summary

Akkodis in Bangalore seeks a Polarion specialist to design and implement ALM workflows, reports, and integrations across project teams. The role emphasizes deep Polarion customization, OSLC/API work, and end-to-end lifecycle delivery in an Agile setting.

You will work with Java/JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL to build dashboards and data visualizations while ensuring robust configuration management and release practices within Polarion and related tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop Polarion customizations: workflows, trigger scripts, live reports, and macros.
• Deep Polarion ALM knowledge as End User and in customizations.
• OSLC APIs basics and OSLC-based integrations.
• Apply SDK/APIs to build integrations.
• Evaluate and optimize existing ALM workflows.
• Design and implement tailored Polarion reports and dashboards.
• Integrate Polarion with other systems via REST APIs and OSLC.
• Deliver end-to-end SDLC with Agile, defect tracking, testing, requirements.
• Hands-on Core Java, JavaScript, and REST API integrations.
• Understand SDLC and all ALM phases.
• Excel for data analysis, automation; macros; VBA.
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• CM activities: baseline, labeling, version control, release (PR/ECR) using ALM/PLM tools.
• Cross-functional collaboration for change control and release workflows.
• Knowledge of DO-178 and DO-254 CM objectives/activities.

Job Location: Bangalore

Notice: Immediate to 45 days

Exp: 3 - 9 Years

Responsibility:

• Develop polarion customizations such as workflow automations, trigger scripts, custom live reports development, macros development etc.
• Good understanding of ALM tool form Siemens Polarion as an End user, Super User and customizations development.
• Basic understanding of OSLC APIs & OSLC based integrations.
• Applying SDK/APIs understanding to develop integrations.
• Evaluate, update, and optimize existing ALM workflows.
• Design and implement tailored reports and dashboards to visualize project data and metrics within Polarion.
• Ability to integrate Polarion with other systems using REST APIs, web services, and OSLC standards.
• Executing projects with End-to-End software development lifecycle using Agile, defect tracking, testing, requirements management.
• Extensive hands-on experience on Core Java, Java Scripting, REAT APIs based integrations development.
• Good understanding of SDLC processes and all ALM phases.
• Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation and macros, and potentially VBA programming.
• Familiarity with SQL database or related querying database.
• Should have exposure in configuration management activities such as creating baseline, labeling, version controlling, releasing and change control (PR/ECR) using ALM/PLM tools.
• Cross functional Interaction with all the teams for successful completion of the Problem Reporting, Change Control and Release workflows.
• Exposure the DO-178 & DO-254 Configuration Management objectives/activities.
