Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is hiring a Senior Master Scheduler within the PMO to develop and maintain an integrated Master Work Plan using MS Project. You will align with the Delivery Enterprise PMO to standardize WBS and ensure full integration across schedules while avoiding PHI/PII handling.

You will mentor the PM team, own portfolio milestones, manage dependencies, and provide forecasting insights. The role operates in India, with an afternoon shift in IST.

Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years of overall experience in project management or PMO.
• Nine or more years in PMO and project management roles.
• Five or more years as Master Scheduler using MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Implement project scheduling controls and ensure consistent processes.
• Coach PM team on project scheduling practices.
• Design, develop and own the portfolio/ program plan with milestones and dependencies.
• Identify and manage dependencies; run Dependency Workshops.
• Maintain plans with forecast milestones and critical path analysis.
• Ensure consistent reporting aggregated for portfolio/program.
• Include activities, time and resources for risk mitigation in product plans.
• Allocate time for quality reviews and ensure realistic effort.
• Analyze project interfaces and dependencies; flag anomalies.
• Track and maintain dependencies and trigger exception reports.

Summary

As a member of the Project Management Office (Master Scheduler) you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an integrated Master Work Plan, under the guidance of the Delivery Enterprise Project Management Office. In this role you will work closely with the Account Team to establish a standardized work breakdown structure that enable full integration of multiple Microsoft Project schedules, in line with Gainwell Delivery best practice standards and processes. This role is strictly does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

Your role in our mission

• Implement Gainwell Project Scheduling controls on the Account or Program. Ensure that processes, tools and methods are operated consistently.
• Coach/support PM team on Project Scheduling processes.
• Facilitate the design, development and ownership of the Portfolio/Program or project plan, ensuring that all milestones and internal/external dependencies are identified, logged and monitored.
• Assist in the identification and ongoing management of dependencies by facilitating Dependency Workshops and Dependency Review Workshop
• Maintain and update plans, advising on forecasted milestones, missed dependencies, critical path analysis and impact assessment.
• Ensure reporting is implemented and maintained consistently and effectively and aggregated for the Portfolio/Program
• Ensure all product-based plans include activities, time and resource estimates for risk mitigation.
• Ensure quality review activities and associated time have been allocated realistically.
• Analyze interfaces and dependencies between projects and recommend actions where anomalies exist or there are areas of concern.
• Undertake tracking and maintenance of dependencies.
• Identify and report deviations and trigger exception reports when appropriate.
• Provide estimating support to the Portfolio/Program/Project.
• Check the health of the schedule using the schedule quality analyzer tool/tool that checks best practices applied, including generation of Earned Value metrics.

What were looking for

• Overall experience should minimum 14 years.
• Nine or more years of experience in project management (PMO).
• Five or more years working experience in Master Scheduler, using MS Project.
• MS Project Online/Server experience preferred.
• Experience managing effort-based schedules.
