Job summary

Gainwell Technologies in Chennai, India is seeking a PMO Master Scheduler to develop and maintain an integrated Master Work Plan. The role requires strong MS Project expertise, extensive PMO background, and the ability to manage dependencies, milestones, and critical paths while ensuring high-quality reporting and risk

Qualifications

• Total PMO experience: at least 14 years.
• Five+ years as Master Scheduler using MS Project.
• MS Project Online/Server experience preferred.
• Experience with scheduling that includes dependencies and milestones.
• Experience managing effort-based schedules and earned value concepts.

Responsibilities

• Implement Gainwell Project Scheduling controls across the Account/Program.
• Design, develop and own the Portfolio/Program or project plan with milestones.
• Facilitate dependency management workshops and reviews.
• Maintain plans and advise on forecasted milestones and critical paths.
• Ensure consistent reporting for the Portfolio/Program.
• Provide estimating support for portfolio/program/project teams.
• Check schedule health using the quality analyzer tool and EV metrics.

Summary

As a member of the Project Management Office (Master Scheduler) you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an integrated Master Work Plan, under the guidance of the Delivery Enterprise Project Management Office. In this role you will work closely with the Account Team to establish a standardized work breakdown structure that enable full integration of multiple Microsoft Project schedules, in line with Gainwell Delivery best practice standards and processes. This role is strictly does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

Your role in our mission

• Implement Gainwell Project Scheduling controls on the Account or Program. Ensure that processes, tools and methods are operated consistently.
• Facilitate the design, development and ownership of the Portfolio/Program or project plan, ensuring that all milestones and internal/external dependencies are identified, logged and monitored.
• Assist in the identification and ongoing management of dependencies by facilitating Dependency Workshops and Dependency Review Workshop
• Maintain and update plans, advising on forecasted milestones, missed dependencies, critical path analysis and impact assessment.
• Ensure reporting is implemented and maintained consistently and effectively and aggregated for the Portfolio/Program
• Ensure all product-based plans include activities, time and resource estimates for risk mitigation.
• Ensure quality review activities and associated time have been allocated realistically.
• Analyze interfaces and dependencies between projects and recommend actions where anomalies exist or there are areas of concern.
• Undertake tracking and maintenance of dependencies.
• Identify and report deviations and trigger exception reports when appropriate.
• Provide estimating support to the Portfolio/Program/Project.
• Check the health of the schedule using the schedule quality analyzer tool/tool that checks best practices applied, including generation of Earned Value metrics.

What we're looking for

• Overall experience should minimum 14 years.
• Nine or more years of experience in project management (PMO).
• Five or more years working experience in Master Scheduler, using MS Project.
• MS Project Online/Server experience preferred.
• Experience managing effort-based schedules.
