Job summary

Cyfuture India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced PMO & Project Execution - Data Centre Expert to lead vendor management, procurement coordination, project governance and oversight for AI-ready data centre construction projects in Noida.

The role requires 8+ years in data centre/infrastructure PMO, cross-functional design coordination, and strong oversight of schedules, budgets and safety. You will work with civil, electrical, mechanical and MEP teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of data centre/mission-critical infra PMO experience.
• Experience in vendor management, procurement and project controls across infra packages.
• Knowledge of schedules, BOQs, specifications and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Vendor & Procurement Management: onboard vendors, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of critical equipment (UPS, transformers, switchgear, generators, chillers, racks, busways, etc.).
• PMO & Project Controls: governance, schedules, budgets, risk registers, dashboards, reporting.
• Project Execution: coordinate civil, structural, electrical, HVAC, fire & safety, security and commissioning teams.
• Track installation, testing, handover and resolve bottlenecks.
• AI Data Centre Readiness: GPU-ready data halls, high-density power, liquid cooling and redundancy.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance: ensure design/contract compliance and site safety.

PMO & Project Execution - Data Centre Expert

Role Overview

Drive vendor management, procurement coordination, project governance and execution oversight for AI-ready Data Centre construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, cost optimization, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Mandatory Requirement

Prior experience in Data Centre construction is essential, given the complexity of heavy equipment loads, raised floors, UPS and battery rooms, and critical infrastructure requirements. Strong expertise in cross-functional design coordination across Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, HVAC, Electrical and other project stakeholders is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor & Procurement Management: Identify, evaluate and onboard vendors, OEMs, EPC contractors and service providers; manage prequalification, technical/commercial evaluations, negotiations, performance reviews and contract changes.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of critical equipment such as UPS, transformers, switchgear, generators, chillers, liquid-cooling systems, racks, busways, fire suppression and BMS/DCIM; track POs, lead times, inspections and site availability.
• PMO & Project Controls: Maintain governance frameworks, schedules, critical paths, milestone trackers, budgets, cost forecasts, risk registers, dashboards and escalation processes; prepare weekly/monthly management reports and drive closure of action items.
• Project Execution: Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, HVAC, liquid cooling, fire protection, security, network and commissioning teams; monitor contractors against approved drawings, specifications, timelines and quality requirements.
• Track installation, inspections, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing and handover; resolve delays, material shortages, interface issues and contractor bottlenecks.
• AI Data Centre Readiness: Coordinate GPU-ready data halls, high-density rack power, liquid cooling, redundancy, maintainability, interoperability and future capacity expansion.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to contracts, approved designs, quality plans, site safety, applicable building/electrical/fire regulations and environmental requirements; manage non-conformances and corrective actions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ year's relevant experience in data centre/mission-critical infrastructure, large MEP projects or infrastructure PMO.
• Hands-on experience in vendor management, procurement, contractor management, project controls and execution across multiple infrastructure packages.
• Strong understanding of schedules, BOQs, technical specifications, commercial evaluation, cost tracking and contract administration; exposure to power, cooling, civil works, fire protection and commissioning.

Preferred

• Hyperscale, AI/GPU data centre, colocation or EPC/design-and-build project exposure.
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier concepts, TIA-942, BMS/DCIM, integrated systems testing, MS Project or Primavera P6, advanced Excel and reporting dashboards.

Success Measures

On-time vendor deliveries and milestones; controlled procurement delays and cost overruns; vendor quality and contractual compliance; accurate reporting; successful commissioning and handover.
