Job Overview
The Wind Site Team Leader will lead package-level PMC monitoring and integrated site coordination for Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), Balance of Plant (BoP), and associated infrastructure through construction, energization, commissioning, and handover. The role will coordinate contractors, OEMs, and client interfaces while driving risk resolution, schedule recovery, quality, HSE, and package readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Wind PMC discipline priorities, deployment, and integrated site coordination.
- Coordinate contractors, OEMs, and client interfaces for roads, foundations, erection, electrical works, energization, commissioning, and HOTO.
- Review package risks, resource constraints, logistics, schedule issues, recovery plans, and milestone forecasts.
- Consolidate technical, quality, HSE, planning, commercial, and supply-chain recommendations.
- Drive resolution and escalation of issues affecting WTG completion, grid readiness, and commissioning sequence.
- Monitor site progress, critical-path constraints, and interface dependencies impacting package delivery.
- Coordinate WTG OEMs, EPC/BoP contractors, civil and electrical contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review construction and commissioning readiness and support closure of punch points and outstanding actions.
- Provide regular package progress, risk, recovery, and milestone updates to the PMO Wind Lead.
- Submit verified package status and readiness recommendations based on site evidence and contractor/OEM inputs.

- Construction, energization, commissioning, and HOTO readiness updates.
Required Experience & Competencies
- 15+ years of relevant experience in wind energy, renewable energy, power, or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in utility-scale wind project construction and site execution.
- Experience across WTG erection, foundations, roads, electrical works, energization, commissioning, and HOTO.
- Strong understanding of WTGs, BoP, grid readiness, and multi-disciplinary site interfaces.
- Proven experience managing contractors, OEMs, PMC teams, and project stakeholders.
- Strong project risk, schedule, recovery planning, and milestone management capabilities.
- Excellent coordination, communication, problem-solving, escalation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to assess package readiness and provide evidence-based recommendations to senior management.
Preferred Background
- Utility-scale wind farms and hybrid renewable energy programs.
- Wind EPC / PMC / Owner's Engineer / Project Management environments.
- Large-scale construction and commissioning projects with multiple contractors and OEM interfaces.
- Experience with Solar-Wind-BESS or other hybrid renewable energy programs is an advantage.
