Job summary

NoBroker is seeking a qualified Training Specialist to conduct hands-on technical training for plumbers and technicians in residential plumbing. The role covers installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with emphasis on safety, SOPs, and quality standards.

Training, coaching, and assessments will identify gaps and drive skill enhancement across the team. The ideal candidate will have an ITI or Diploma in Plumbing, strong residential plumbing knowledge, and the ability to convey

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or a relevant technical trade is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of pipes, fittings, valves, sanitary fixtures, CP fittings, tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical training for plumbers and technicians.
• Demonstrate residential plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Train technicians on plumbing tools, pipes, fittings, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and skill assessments to identify gaps.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to improve skills.
• Train on taps, faucets, mixers, wash basins, sinks, commodes, bathroom plumbing, leakage, drainage, blockages, water pressure, pipelines, water tanks, CP and sanitary fittings.
• Ensure safety practices, SOPs and quality standards are followed.
• Maintain training and assessment records and stay updated on new plumbing products and industry practices.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on technical training for plumbers and technicians.
• Demonstrate residential plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Train technicians on plumbing tools, pipes, fittings, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and skill assessments to identify technical gaps.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to improve technician skills.
• Train on taps, faucets, mixers, wash basins, sinks, commodes, bathroom plumbing, leakage, drainage, blockages, water pressure, pipelines, water tanks, CP and sanitary fittings.
• Train technicians on proper tool usage, safety practices, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Conduct refresher and corrective training based on customer complaints and quality issues.
• Support new plumber onboarding and technical assessments.
• Work with Operations and Quality teams to identify recurring technical issues and improve training.
• Maintain training and assessment records and stay updated on new plumbing products and industry practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in residential plumbing is mandatory.
• Candidates from Home Services, Construction, Facility Management, Interiors, Real Estate or Plumbing Services backgrounds are preferred. Candidates currently working as Senior Plumber, Master Plumber, Plumbing Technician, Plumbing Supervisor or Plumbing Foreman can be considered.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and troubleshooting. Good knowledge of pipes, fittings, valves, sanitary fixtures, CP fittings, tools and equipment.
• ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or a relevant technical trade is preferred.
• Prior formal training experience is not mandatory.
• Must be comfortable demonstrating plumbing work practically.
• Good communication and coaching skills.
• Willingness to work as an Individual Contributor and Technical SME, rather than a people manager.
