Job summary

NoBroker is seeking an experienced training specialist to upskill plumbers and technicians through hands-on sessions. The role focuses on residential plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting with practical demonstrations.

You will coach technicians, assess skills, and align training with safety standards, SOPs, and quality benchmarks. Strong communication and the ability to work as an independent SME are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in residential plumbing is mandatory.
• ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or relevant technical trade preferred.
• Good communication and coaching skills.
• Prior formal training experience not mandatory.
• Comfortable demonstrating plumbing work practically.
• Willingness to work as an Individual Contributor and Technical SME.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on technical training for plumbers and technicians.
• Demonstrate residential plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Train technicians on plumbing tools, pipes, fittings, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and skill assessments to identify gaps.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to improve technician skills.
• Train on taps, faucets, mixers, wash basins, sinks, commodes, bathroom plumbing, leaks, drainage, blockages, water pressure, pipelines, water tanks, CP and sanitary fittings.
• Train technicians on proper tool usage, safety practices, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Conduct refresher and corrective training based on customer complaints and quality issues.
• Support new plumber onboarding and technical assessments.
• Work with Operations and Quality teams to identify recurring technical issues and improve training.
• Maintain training and assessment records and stay updated on new plumbing products and industry practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in residential plumbing is mandatory.
• Candidates from Home Services, Construction, Facility Management, Interiors, Real Estate or Plumbing Services backgrounds are preferred. Candidates currently working as Senior Plumber, Master Plumber, Plumbing Technician, Plumbing Supervisor or Plumbing Foreman can be considered.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and troubleshooting. Good knowledge of pipes, fittings, valves, sanitary fixtures, CP fittings, tools and equipment.
• ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or a relevant technical trade is preferred.
• Prior formal training experience is not mandatory.
• Must be comfortable demonstrating plumbing work practically.
• Good communication and coaching skills.
• Willingness to work as an Individual Contributor and Technical SME, rather than a people manager.
