Job description

Position: Plumber

Experience: 2 to 4 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Installation: Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and lay piping systems (PVC, CPVC, PPR, PEX, Copper, CI) for water supply, drainage, and sewage.
• Fixture Assembly: Install and connect bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, faucets, water heaters, and drainage pumps.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair pipe leaks, clogged drains, low water pressure, faulty valves, and damaged plumbing lines using plumbing snakes, pressure gauges, and specialized hand tools.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of water distribution systems, pumps, valves, and drainage tanks to prevent blockages and system failures.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret building blueprints, plumbing schematics, and layout diagrams to plan pipe routes and fixture placements.
• System Testing: Perform hydro-testing and leak tests on newly installed or repaired supply and waste lines to ensure pressure integrity and compliance.
• Safety & Code Compliance: Adhere strictly to local plumbing codes, occupational safety standards, and proper hazardous material handling.
