The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and knowledge of printing media. Experience with CorelDRAW or Illustrator is a plus; ITI/Diploma preferred, 1-3 years experience.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in technical field required or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in plotter/digital printing preferred.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may be considered.
• Knowledge of signage production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plotter, digital printing and cutting machines.
• Check artwork, dimensions, material and printing specifications before starting the job.
• Load and handle different printing materials like vinyl, flex, sheets and other media.
• Set machine parameters such as size, speed, temperature, pressure and print quality.
• Ensure alignment, colour accuracy and print quality for outputs.
• Conduct test prints and adjust settings before bulk production.
• Monitor machines and identify printing or cutting errors during runs.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of machines.
• Replace consumables such as ink, blades when needed.
• Maintain records of production, material usage and machine issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Plotter Printer Operator to operate digital printing, ensure accurate and high-quality output, and support the production team in completing jobs within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plotter, digital printing and cutting machines.
• Check artwork, dimensions, material and printing specifications before starting the job.
• Load and handle different types of printing materials such as vinyl, flex, sheets and other media.
• Set appropriate machine parameters such as size, speed, temperature, pressure and print quality.
• Ensure proper alignment, colour accuracy and print quality.
• Conduct test prints and make necessary adjustments before bulk production.
• Monitor machines during operation and identify printing or cutting errors.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of machines.
• Replace consumables such as ink, blades and other required materials when necessary.
• Maintain proper records of production, material usage and machine issues.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient use of consumables.
• Coordinate with the Design, Production, Fabrication and Dispatch teams for timely completion of jobs.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness around the machines.
• Report machine breakdowns or technical issues immediately.
• Ensure finished prints are properly labelled, stored and handed over for further processing or dispatch.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a Plotter Operator, Digital Printer Operator or similar production role preferred.
