Ascendion Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior PLM Consultant specializing in Infor Optiva (Process Manufacturing) to lead PLM initiatives across Food & Beverage, Dairy, Ingredients, and Life Sciences sectors. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• Hands-on experience with Infor Optiva PLM (Process Manufacturing).
• Strong knowledge of Process Manufacturing and PLM concepts.
• Experience integrating PLM with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical, consulting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLM implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design PLM solutions.
• Configure and support processes including Formula/Recipe Management, Product Specifications, Ingredient & Raw Material Management, Packaging, Change Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Product Data Management.
• Support integrations between PLM and ERP/MES/QMS/LIMS systems.
• Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, user training and production support.
• Drive continuous process improvements and PLM best practices.

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Vadodra

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced PLM Consultant with strong expertise in Process Manufacturing (Infor Optiva) to lead PLM implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of product lifecycle processes across Food & Beverage, Dairy, Ingredients, CPG, Chemicals, or Life Sciences industries.

Experience in Dairy Manufacturing is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PLM implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective PLM solutions.
• Configure and support processes including Formula/Recipe Management, Product Specifications, Ingredient & Raw Material Management, Packaging, Change Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Product Data Management.
• Support integrations between PLM and ERP/MES/QMS/LIMS applications.
• Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, user training, and production support.

Required Skills

• Experience integrating PLM with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments is preferred.
