Job summary

Atul Auto LIMITED is seeking a skilled PLM engineer to manage PLM workflows, releases, revisions and approvals. You will validate CAD BOMs (MBOM/EBOM/SBOM) and ensure alignment with design, PPC and manufacturing.

You will drive ECR/ECN lifecycles, coordinate stakeholders and track implementations to closure. You will maintain data accuracy, configuration control and traceability, while addressing PLM process gaps and enhancing reports.

Qualifications

• PLM and ECM knowledge required.
• CAD BOM/EBOM/SBOM/MBOM and configuration control understanding.
• Experience with ECR/ECN, engineering release and revision processes.
• Strong Excel/data analysis and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with automotive product development; SAP/ERP exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage PLM workflows, engineering releases, revisions, approvals and implementation.
• Maintain and validate CAD BOM, EBOM, SBOM and coordinate EBOM/MBOM alignment across Design/PPC/Plant.
• Drive ECR/ECN lifecycle, stakeholder coordination, implementation tracking and closure.
• Ensure BOM/data accuracy, configuration control, traceability and process compliance.
• Coordinate with Design, Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, Quality and Plant teams for change implementation and issue closure.
• Identify PLM process gaps and simplify/improve workflows, reports and tracking systems.
• Coordinate with PLM vendors/IT for system issues, enhancements, testing and implementation.
• Maintain action trackers, ageing, escalations and clear ownership/timelines for closure.
• Support regular BOM checks and alignment between engineering intent and manufacturing implementation.
• Prepare MIS and management reports on PLM, BOM and change-management status.

Preferred candidate profile
