Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an experienced QA Automation/SDET in Hyderabad to design and implement automated test solutions across web, API, and data pipelines. You will build scalable frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript and Python, automate diverse test types, and drive CI/CD integration.

The role requires strong SQL skills, data validation expertise, and familiarity with AI-assisted test automation, Agile/Scrum practices, and test reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in QA automation or SDET roles.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Python automation and scripting.
• Experience in web, API, regression, and end-to-end test automation.
• Knowledge of data automation, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong SQL and database testing skills.
• Understanding of AI-assisted test automation techniques.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Agile/Scrum, and test reporting tools.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks, Page Object Model, reusable utilities, and data-driven testing.
