Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Test Engineering.
• BS degree with computer science, quality assurance, or engineering emphasis or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as data-driven, keyword-driven and hybrid.
• Familiarity with designing and running performance tests is a plus.
• Solid experience designing/building automation frameworks from the ground up using Java or other languages.
• Experience with Maven, IntelliJ, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD is a plus.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL and multi-tier architectures.

Responsibilities

• Configures, maintains, and/or administers testing tools or environments.

Major Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
• Review and approve testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Research available tools and leads or participates in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality
• Configures, maintains, and/or administers testing tools or environments
• Develop and execute automated testing for assigned projects to enable delivery of high-quality software products and services successfully and consistently on time, on budget, and to specification
• Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue
• Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness or to mitigate risks
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
