Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Playwright POS QE Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing and retail POS applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring product quality, and driving test automation initiatives across web and POS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for POS and web applications.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Execute API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality improvements.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience testing POS (Point of Sale) / Retail Applications.
• API Testing experience using Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of Automation Framework Design.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
