Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a strong understanding of testing best practices, and works closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to define test strategies
• Execute automated and manual tests as needed and analyze resultsIdentify, log, and track defects using test management/bug tracking tools
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and smoke test suites
• Maintain test data and test environments
• Continuously improve automation standards and best practices

Required Skills Qualifications

• Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
• Experience testing web applications (cross-browser testing)
• Knowledge of API testing and basic REST concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress)
• Knowledge of performance or security testing
