Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad is seeking a Platform Engineer to manage build and release processes, and to maintain CI/CD pipelines across development environments. You will configure repositories, support build automation, and develop automation scripts to improve engineering productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with container platforms—Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Ability to collaborate with DevOps, SRE and cloud teams.
• Good documentation and adherence to platform standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support software build and release processes across environments.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using multiple tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, TeamCity).
• Configure and administer Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket repositories.
• Support build automation with Maven, Gradle, Ant, npm, and MSBuild.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Shell, PowerShell or Groovy.
• Troubleshoot build failures and deployment issues affecting toolchains.
• Manage artifact repositories such as Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitor platform availability and reliability; optimize performance.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, SRE and cloud teams to raise productivity.
• Document standards and best practices for platform services.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation and developer experience.
