ACURA SOLUTIONS LTD is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to design, automate, and manage the organization’s application delivery platforms and infrastructure. The role focuses on CI/CD, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, platform reliability, and security integration across development, infrastructure, security, and cloud teams.

The candidate will work on Kubernetes platforms including Rancher and OpenShift (OCP), manage Docker environments, and oversee Linux (RHEL)

Formación

Job Purpose

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and managing the organization's application delivery platforms and infrastructure components. The role focuses on CI/CD pipeline management, container orchestration platforms, infrastructure automation, platform reliability, security integration, and operational excellence. The individual will work closely with development, infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable application deployment and operations.

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD DevOps Management

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, test, and deployment processes.
Manage and administer DevOps platforms, repositories, build agents, and runners.
Automate application deployment, testing, and release processes.
Implement DevSecOps practices within CI/CD workflows.
Troubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment issues.
Optimize build and deployment performance.

Container Kubernetes Platform Administration

Deploy, manage, and maintain containerized application platforms.
Administer Kubernetes environments including: Rancher, Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)
Configure namespaces, ingress controllers, storage classes, RBAC, and cluster security.
Monitor cluster health, capacity, and performance.
Manage container image repositories and lifecycle.

Docker Administration

Build, secure, and manage Docker container environments.
Define and maintain approved base images.
Implement container security best practices.
Support application teams in containerization initiatives.

Linux Infrastructure Administration

Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
Perform system hardening, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Manage operating system performance and availability.
Maintain platform documentation and configuration standards.

Security Secrets Management

Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Manage secrets, certificates, tokens, and credentials using HashiCorp Vault.
Integrate security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
Coordinate vulnerability remediation activities.

Logging, Monitoring Observability

Implement and manage centralized logging platforms such as: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Graylog
Create dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions.
Perform log analysis and troubleshooting.
Support incident investigation and root cause analysis.

CloudPlatform Support

Support deployment and operations on cloud platforms:
Configure cloud-native services supporting DevOps operations.
Assist in cloud infrastructure automation and optimization.
Support hybrid cloud and container-based deployments.

Automation Infrastructure as Code

Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform configuration.
Develop scripts and reusable automation components.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using approved tools.
Improve operational efficiency through automation.

Platform Reliability Operations

Ensure high availability and resilience of platform services.
Participate in incident management and problem management activities.
Maintain disaster recovery and backup procedures.
Create and maintain operational runbooks and SOPs.

Experience

Up to 3 years ( 2 candidates) , 3-5 years ( 1 Candidate) of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Experience administering Kubernetes platforms in enterprise environments.
Experience supporting containerized applications and platform services.
Experience with Linux system administration and middleware platforms.
