Dow India is hiring an Azure Data Platform Engineer to join the Enterprise Data & Analytics Data Platform team. This role supports Azure cloud infrastructure, Databricks, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines with a hybrid onsite pattern near Mumbai.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable cloud solutions and help modernize data platforms. Ideal candidates bring Azure deployment experience, Terraform/Bicep, PowerShell, Python, SQL, and strong collaboration skills to drive

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and deploying Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services such as Databricks, Storage, V-Net, SQL Servers and API Management.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and Bicep for standardized deployments across environments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and manage automated deployments.
• Support Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog integrations with other Azure services.
• Develop automation using PowerShell; utilize Python and SQL for admin tasks.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture and security teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.
• Apply DevOps, security, change and configuration management best practices; document workflows.

About you and this role

DOW has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Azure Data Platform Engineer on the Enterprise Data & Analytics Data Platform team. This is a position within our Enterprise Data & Analytics Organization.The role will align to Dow's Design your Day approach and allows employees to work remotely but will also require onsite work based on project work and role needs. The selected candidate will be expected to live a commutable distance from our IT Hub in Mumbai (IN) at a frequency to be agreed upon by the employee and their leader.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services, including Databricks, Storage Accounts, V-Net/Networking, SQL Servers, Function Apps, and API Management.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep, enabling standardized and repeatable deployments across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including Git repositories, branching strategies, release processes, and automated deployments.
• Support the configuration, administration, and operational management of Azure Databricks and associated platform components, including Unity Catalog and integration with Azure services.
• Develop automation and operational solutions using PowerShell, with working knowledge of Python and SQL for platform administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with data engineering, application, architecture, networking, and security teams to design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions.
• Implement DevOps, cloud security, configuration management, and change management best practices, ensuring solutions align with company IT architecture and security standards.
• Continuously improve platform automation, reusable IaC libraries, technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering best practices, while providing technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.

• Manage own work effort in multiple projects with little supervision.
• Interested about emerging technologies with the ability to quickly learn and exploit cutting edge offerings to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in IT discipline or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Recent experience designing and deploying in Microsoft Azure’s Environment.
