Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Chennai invites an experienced Platform/DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and secure cloud infrastructure using IaC along with robust IAM and networking controls. You will implement CI/CD pipelines and enforce security through SAST and vulnerability scanning.

The role emphasizes platform reliability, observability, cost-tracking, and ongoing collaboration with backend and QA teams to ensure compliance and governance across our cloud-native stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years in platform/DevOps/cloud-infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on IaC tooling and cloud-native platforms essential.
• Strong knowledge of cloud IAM, networking, encryption, and security controls.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms, containers, and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with SAST, security scanning, and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish CI/CD pipelines with linting, type-checking, unit testing, and static application security testing (SAST).
• Implement the platform security foundation (token-based authentication, network isolation, encryption at rest and in transit).
• Build audit-trail, telemetry, error-handling, and cost-tracking capabilities.
• Own platform reliability, security hardening, and operational readiness.
• Partner with backend and quality teams on compliance and governance.
