Job summary

Polyline is seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our Hyderabad facility. You will coordinate production activities, supervise staff, ensure quality, safety, and equipment efficiency while meeting production targets.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or production engineering, with at least 3 years in PVC/plastic or pipe manufacturing, and proven leadership and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably PVC/plastic/electrical products or pipe manufacturing.
• Experience supervising plant operations or production teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant operations to ensure smooth production.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
• Lead, train, and motivate production operators and support staff.
• Ensure adherence to company quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain workplace safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Minimize production downtime and material wastage.
• Monitor raw material availability and optimize resource utilization.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S practices across the plant.
