Adani Group seeks a senior security leader to head the plant and township security, ensuring 24x7 protection of people, materials and assets. You will manage security operations, coordinate with Police and government, and drive risk mitigation, safety standards, and incident investigations.

The role emphasizes building intelligence networks, disaster response, CCTV oversight and deployment of security technologies within a large industrial site in India.

Qualifications

• Essential: Graduate with defence/paramilitary background; Sr/Jr Commandant level.
• Total experience: 17+ years with internal/external postings.

Responsibilities

• Head the security department and keep it operational to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Liaise with police and state administration to maintain law and order at site.
• Coordinate with local leaders and villages to build intelligence and CSR support.
• Support emergency control measures and disaster management.
• Maintain CCTV surveillance regularly.
• Implement health & safety standards per guidelines.
• Deploy security personnel and modern electronic equipment.
• Identify training needs and develop team capabilities.
• Continuously evaluate threats to protect men and materials.

Purpose/Objective

• To ensure 24 x 7 security of Men, material and assets of plant and township.
• To take all reasonable steps to prevent loss and misappropriation of its property, disaster management and Traffic Health & Safety management.
• To report and investigate thoroughly and impartially any security breaches

Key Responsibilities of Role

• - Heading the security department and keep the department operationally active to avoid theft of materials, maintain secured working environment for employees, customers and associates.
• - Liaisoning with Police dept. and state government administration to achieve success in maintaining law & order situation at site.
• - Liaisoning with local leaders and heads of project affected villages to help in development of an intelligence network and help in our company CSR initiatives.
• - Help the organization in emergency control measures and in disaster management.
• - Maintain surveillance through CCTV on regular basis.
• - Implementation of Highest standards of Health & Safety as per DuPont guidelines/CHETNA.
• - Implementation of SI/JSA/SMS as per organizational guidelines.
• - Conduct security audit & review of security set up.
• - Deploy security personnel & modern electronic equipment to mitigate security risks.
• - Identify & coordinate training needs of team members & supports them to upgrade their technical and behavioral skills.
• - Continually engaging in Threat evaluation to ensure security of men & material.

Technical Competencies

• Contingencies to meet any eventuality in crisis situation,Crisis Management & Emergency control Management,General Administration of security agencies.

Qualifications and Experience
