Job summary

Faurecia, a global automotive technology leader, is seeking a Production Control & Logistics Manager in Chennai to oversee plant production control and logistics in line with PC&L strategy. You will lead a team handling customer management, deliveries, planning, and flow management.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in industrial or supply-chain management (or higher), 15+ years in production control and logistics in automotive, and strong leadership, English proficiency, and ERP/APICS

Qualifications

• Master's degree in industrial or supply‑chain management highly preferred, Bachelor's degree minimum requirement.
• At least 15 years of experience in production control and logistics, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Experience in operations, including Safety and Quality basics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production control and logistics activities in the plant.

As the Production Control & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production control and logistic activities of the plant, in alignment with the Division/Business Group PC&L strategy. You will lead a team of professionals in charge of customer management and deliveries, production planning, internal and external flows management, and continuous improvement. You will also ensure the adherence to the PC&L standard processes and the department budget.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education Level

• Master's degree in industrial or supply‑chain management highly preferred, Bachelor's degree minimum requirement

Professional Experience

• At least 15 years of experience in production control and logistics, preferably in the automotive industry
• Experience in operations, including Safety and Quality basics

Skills And Competencies

• Minimum English language required

• Knowledge of the ERP processes and tools, and the ability to detect, understand, and solve issues
• Knowledge of the APICS and Faurecia system principles
