Job summary

Forvia is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer in Pune to lead plant equipment maintenance, reduce breakdowns, and drive TPM initiatives. The role demands expertise in PLCs, automation, and welding equipment with hands-on problem solving and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 14–18 years in maintenance within manufacturing, exposure to AB/Siemens PLCs, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. This role is based on-site in Pune and offers growth within a global mobility technology leader.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Electrical Engg. / Electronic/ Mechanical Engg.
• Strong analytical and maintenance skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Plant Equipment & tooling breakdown reduction.
• Scheduling & overseeing all maintenance related work.
• Accountable for Plant DLE, MTTR & MTBF improvement.
• Knowledge of AB PLC, Siemens PLC, Scanners.
• Strong IATF & ISO requirement knowledge, good maintenance documentation.
• Experience in welding machines (MIG, TIG), Canning Line, Robotic welding, press and forming machines.
• Capable to implement TPM, PM, TBM, CBM hands-on.

Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:

• Responsible for Plant Equipment & tooling breakdown reduction
• Scheduling & overseeing all maintenance related work.
• Accountable for Plant DLE, MTTR & MTBF improvement.
• Knowledge of AB PLC, Siemens PLC, Scanners.
• Strong IATF & ISO requirement knowledge, Good in Maintenance documentation.
• Experience in Welding machine (MIG, TIG), Canning Line, Robotic welding, press machines, Forming machines.
• Responsible for TPM implementation, PM, TBM, CBM hands on experience is must.
• Capable to solve repeat breakdowns through 8D, Why Analysis, Fish Bone diagram, Six sigma, QRCI methodology.
• Responsible for Spare part management i.e., Min-Max level, critical parts monitoring & Plant Budget management for manufacturing cost
• Knowledge of Fanuc welding Robot, SPM machines is must.
• Good knowledge & skill of team handling

The Main Missions Of The Role Are

• Responsible to implement FES system for Maintenance.
• Responsible for Maintenance méthodologies implementation.
• Responsible for Spare part management i.e., Min-Max level, critical parts monitoring.
• Capable to handle AMC, Utility activities.
• Knowledge of Fanuc welding Robot, SPM machines is must.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be

Minimum education level:

• Diploma / BE in Electrical Engg. / Electronic/ Mechanical Engg.

Experience

• Minimum 14 to 18 years relevant experience.
• Experience in Exhaust Manufacturing facility will be added advantage.
• Experience of Maintenance department management.
