Job summary

TACC Limited in India seeks a seasoned Plant Head to lead a greenfield project and manage start-to-finish plant setup, from layout through commissioning. You will coordinate across project, engineering, procurement, HR, and finance; drive safety, quality, and cost targets; and shape the long-term strategic roadmap.

The role requires 15+ years in manufacturing operations with leadership experience and proven track record in greenfield execution and plant commissioning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in management or engineering preferred.
• 15+ years of manufacturing operations experience with leadership roles.
• Proven track record in greenfield project execution and plant commissioning.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and resource optimization.
• Exposure to Lean, TPM, Six Sigma and process excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant setup including layout planning, approvals, construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with project, engineering, procurement, HR, and finance teams.
• Oversee plant operations including production, quality, engineering, and maintenance.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and cost targets; monitor KPIs.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team and drive a strong safety culture.
• Prepare AOPs, budgets, and capex proposals; contribute to strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities :

Greenfield Project Management

• Lead end-to-end execution of plant setup, including layout planning, statutory approvals, construction, machinery installation, and commissioning.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with project, engineering, procurement, HR, and finance teams for timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and environmental regulations during the project phase.

Plant Operations & Production

• Oversee entire plant operations including production, quality, engineering, and maintenance.
• Ensure achievement of production targets with adherence to safety, quality, and cost parameters.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).

People & Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing team with strong focus on productivity and employee engagement.
• Provide direction, training, and mentoring to plant managers and departmental heads.
• Establish a strong safety and performance culture.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements related to labor laws, pollution control, and industry regulations.
• Implement and monitor safety systems across the plant.

Strategic & Financial Management

• Prepare annual operating plans (AOP), budgets, and capital expenditure proposals.
• Control costs, optimize resources, and improve efficiency through continuous monitoring of KPIs.
• Contribute to the long-term strategic roadmap of the organization.

Key Skills & Qualification :

• Master’s degree (MBA / M.Tech) preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in a Plant Head / leadership role.
