Job summary

The role requires 15–20 years of progressive industrial leadership in rubber or pharma components, with 5–7 years as Plant Head, proven track record with US FDA/EMA inspections, and expertise in cGMP, Lean and Six Sigma.

Job description

The Plant Head will assume absolute operational, technical, financial, and regulatory accountability for the entire manufacturing plant footprint, prioritizing pharmaceutical rubber stoppers, plungers, and specialized elastomeric primary packaging. This executive operational leadership position is tasked with scaling plant throughput, optimizing manufacturing assets, and maintaining flawless compliance within highly regulated health authority markets (US FDA, EMA, MHRA, and PIC/S). The ideal candidate merges intensive end-to-end industrial plant management (P&L ownership, engineering maintenance, lean manufacturing) with deep validation proficiency under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Education & Professional Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Rubber/Polymer Technology, or related technical discipline. An MBA in Operations or Finance is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive industrial leadership experience in rubber or pharmaceutical component manufacturing, with at least 5-7 years functioning as a Plant Head / Factory Manager managing high-precision elastomeric components.

Proven track record of navigating successful international regulatory inspections (such as US FDA or EMA) and implementing Lean/Six Sigma principles is mandatory.
