Job summary

Cyient Limited is seeking a seasoned mechanical/civil engineer to lead boiler and environmental equipment arrangements using AVEVA E3D. The role covers 2D and 3D drawings, piping isometrics, and plant layouts for boiler, scrubbers, and BOP systems.

You will collaborate with customers, erectors, and fabricators to ensure accurate, compliant designs. Ideal candidates have an engineering degree or diploma, 5+ years of related experience, and proven proficiency in AVEVA E3D and CAD tools such as

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or degree with mechanical/civil background.
• Minimum 2 years of AVEVA E3D experience required.
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Plant 3D modeling preferred.
• Strong drawing and layout capability

Responsibilities

• Develop boiler and environmental equipment arrangements per requirements.
• Prepare general arrangement, plant layout, proposal, design and erection drawings.
• Support layouts for boiler, environmental and BOP including flues, ducts, piping and isometrics.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams for timely information flow.
• Perform standard calculations per company standards.
• Attend meetings with customers, erectors and fabricators.
• Review drawings and provide comments for compliance and interference checks.
• Check drawings for spec compliance, interferences, dimensions, fits and tolerances.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop boiler and environmental equipment arrangements in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
• Prepare general arrangement, plant layout, proposal, design, and erection arrangement drawings to support contracts and proposals.
• Support boiler, environmental, auxiliary, and BOP equipment layouts, including flues and ducts, piping, Isometrics, fans, tanks, and steel.
• Coordinate with engineering and project/proposal management to ensure timely information flow.
• Perform standard calculations in accordance with company standards.
• Attend meetings with customers, erectors, and fabricators.
• Review vendor, customer, and architect-engineer drawings and provide comments as required.
• Check drawings for specification compliance, equipment interferences, dimensions, fits, and tolerances.

Required Qualifications

• Engineering diploma with 8+ years of experience, or graduate engineer with 5+ years of experience in mechanical or civil engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using AVEVA E3D is required.
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Plant 3D modeling experience is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

UThe TD-Boiler Arrangements-Layout role is responsible for creating 2D and 3D arrangement drawings, models, Piping Isometrics and plant layouts for boiler and environmental products using AVEVA E3D and supported by AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The scope includes Boiler, scrubbers, baghouses, precipitators, piping, flues and ducts, fans, tanks, steel, auxiliary equipment, and BOP systems.
