Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a global leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse. This role focuses on mechanical design, 3D modeling, and materials/bid evaluation to support project execution across water and power sectors.

The candidate will draft As-Built drawings, develop 3D models using Plant 3D, Revit, E3D and Open Plant, and perform pipe stress analyses while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must draft 'As-Built' drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare 3D models in Plant 3D, Revit, E3D, Open Plant from PID/Equipment lists.
• Prepare structural & pipe stress analysis package with weight data.
• Develop material requisitions and evaluate supplier techno-commercial bids.

Job Description

Technical Responsibilities / Expectations

Must-Have Requirements

• Able to draft "As-Built" drawings using AutoCAD software
• Able to prepare Civil/Equipment/Piping/(non-process and process lines)/Cable tray/Pipe supports in 3D Model based on Engineering documents like PID/Equipment & Instruments Cutsheets /Valves andPiping List etc., using 3D Modeling Softwares like Plant 3D, Revit ,E3D, Open Plant etc.
• Able to Prepare Structural & Pipe Stress Analysis package including weight datasheet
• Proficient in developing material requisitions , Review supplier technical offers and prepare techno commercial bid evaluation tabs.

Good To Have Requirements (That Supports future Career progression in the Role)

• Able to draft Equipment/Foundation Layout using AutoCAD software
• Able to prepare Civil/Equipment/Piping(non-process and process lines) in 3D Model based on Basic Engineering documents using 3D Modeling Softwares like Plant 3D, PDMS, E3D, Open Plant, Revit etc.
• Able to Perform Pipe support span length calculation and review 3D Model. Performing stress analysis with simple load cases & combinations, Pipe Support Selection
• Proficient in conducting 3D model reviews from concept to completion
• Knowledge on ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code /B 31.1 Power Piping Code
• Aware of interdisciplinary activities and support for various other disciplines during the project

Diploma/Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Mechanical Engineering

Additional Information

Maximum 3-7 years’ Experience of mechanical design in Water,Power,Oil and Gas or related Industry
