Job summary

rincetech Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Plant 3D Piping Designer to join our team in Jaipur. You will model and layout piping systems for industrial plants using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and related software, ensuring accurate, code-compliant designs.

The role requires 2–3 years of piping design experience with 3D tools, strong knowledge of piping standards, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines to produce detailed drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years of piping design experience using 3D modeling software (Plant 3D, Revit or similar).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and 3D modeling tools; strong piping knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D piping models and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar software.
• Design piping systems for plant processes, aligning with mechanical, electrical, and civil specs.
• Develop and modify piping drawings, including isometrics, spools, and material specifications.
• Review project requirements and apply design changes to meet specifications.
• Generate BOMs and piping schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize layouts and resolve conflicts.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Assist in project documentation and design reviews.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts in the 3D model.
• Provide support during construction to ensure designs are followed.

rincetech Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Plant 3D Piping Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and modeling piping systems for industrial and manufacturing plants using advanced 3D modeling software, ensuring the creation of accurate and efficient piping layouts that meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D piping models and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar software.
• Design piping systems for various plant processes, ensuring alignment with mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering specifications.
• Develop and modify piping drawings, including isometrics, spools, and material specifications.
• Review project requirements and integrate design changes as needed to meet client and project specifications.
• Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and piping schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize piping layouts and resolve design conflicts.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural) to ensure a cohesive design.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and design reviews.
• Perform clash detection and resolve any design conflicts in the 3D model.
• Provide support during the construction phase, ensuring designs are followed accurately.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in piping design using 3D modeling software (AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar).
• Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D, CAD software, and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of piping design principles, standards, and materials.
• Knowledge of industrial piping codes and regulations (ASME, ANSI, etc.).
• Experience in creating isometric drawings and P&IDs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with clash detection and coordination in 3D models.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and the integration of piping design with other disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering and plant layout design.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
