Job summary

Sterling & Wilson is seeking a project scheduler to develop, maintain, and update detailed schedules for data center construction projects in Maharashtra. The role spans engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning with a focus on timely delivery and accurate planning documentation.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, MEP and QA/QC teams, monitor progress against baselines, and prepare reports and dashboards to support management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare baseline schedules, detailed work programs, weekly look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules.
• Monitor actual project progress against planned targets and identify delays, slippages, and critical activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, MEP, QA/QC, and subcontractor teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Track critical path, key milestones, dependencies, manpower, and resource requirements.
• Collect and validate progress data from site teams and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Analyze schedule performance and highlight potential risks, delays, and areas requiring management intervention.
• Support preparation of mitigation and recovery plans to achieve project milestones and completion targets.
• Conduct schedule impact and delay analysis and maintain records for project controls and contractual requirements.
• Prepare progress dashboards, S-curves, and other planning and reporting presentations for project management.
• Ensure timely updating of project schedules and maintain accurate planning and progress documentation.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely execution of critical data center construction and MEP activities.
