Job summary

Megha Engineering And Infrastructure (MEIL) is seeking a Planning Engineer for a Highspeed Rail Project (Underground Station) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. You will prepare the project schedule, build WBS in Primavera P6, update progress, monitor baselines, and coordinate with site teams to collect data and produce reports.

The role requires BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with NICMAR qualification and 7–12 years of relevant experience; metro project exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with NICMAR qualification is required.
• Experience in planning activities for big infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, baselining, and progress reporting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the project schedule and WBS in Primavera P6.
• Update daily, weekly, and monthly progress in the P6 schedule.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule.
• Identify critical activities and monitor the critical path.
• Prepare two-week and monthly look-ahead schedules for site execution.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and the project team to collect progress data.
• Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards.
• Analyze delays and suggest recovery plans to meet deadlines.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and resource utilization for timely completion.
• Attend progress review meetings with client, consultant, and project management team.
