Role Overview

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible forfacilitating employment opportunities for program beneficiaries by buildingstrong employer networks, preparing candidates for the job market, and ensuringsuccessful and sustainable placements. The role focuses on creating livelihoodopportunities for individuals from diverse and underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employer & Industry Engagement

• Identifyand connect with potential employers, NGOs, and social enterprises
  
• Developand maintain long-term partnerships with recruiters and companies
  
• Understandjob requirements and align them with candidate profiles
  

2. Candidate Readiness & Support

• Conductresume-building sessions and mock interviews
  
• Traincandidates in soft skills, workplace etiquette, and communication
  
• Assesscandidate skills and recommend suitable job roles
  

3. Placement Coordination

• Organizejob drives, interviews, and recruitment events
  
• Coordinateinterview schedules between candidates and employers
  
• Ensuresmooth end-to-end placement processes
  

4. Post-Placement Follow-up

• Trackcandidate progress after placement
  
• Providesupport for retention and address workplace challenges
  
• Maintainregular communication with both employer and candidate
  

5. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintainaccurate records of placements and employer interactions
  
• TrackKPIs such as placement rates and retention rates
  
• Prepareperiodic reports for internal teams and stakeholders
  

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Workclosely with trainers, program teams, and community mobilizers
  
• Supportoutreach and mobilization efforts when required
  
• Representthe organization in job fairs and networking events
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’sdegree in Social Work, Human Resources, Business Administration, orrelated field
  
• 1-3 years of experience in placement, recruitment, or livelihood programs (preferred)
