Saipem is seeking a Piping Flexibility Engineer in Chennai to lead pipe supports and piping flexibility activities. You will drive quality, budget, and schedule for critical piping tasks and mentor junior engineers in stress analysis and SLD preparation.

The candidate should have a BE in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong analytical and coordination skills for complex piping projects.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of piping design and flexibility experience.
• Experience with pipe supports, stress analysis and SLDs.

Responsabilités

• Ensure quality, budget, and schedule for pipe supports and piping flexibility.
• Prepare Critical Line Lists and perform piping stress analysis.
• Prepare and issue Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) with loading details for pipe racks, sleep ers and foundations.
• Prepare comprehensive Stress Analysis Reports.
• Review vendor documents for piping moments and load compliance.

• Responsible for quality, budget, and schedule of activities related to Pipe Supports and Piping Flexibility.
• Prepare Critical Line Lists and perform Piping Stress Analysis.
• Prepare and issue Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) with loading details for the design of Pipe Racks, Pipe Sleepers, and Foundations.
• Prepare comprehensive Stress Analysis Reports.
• Review equipment vendor documents to ensure compliance with piping moments and load requirements.
