Job summary

Isgec Hitachi Zosen Limited in Noida is seeking an experienced Piping Draftsman with 8–10 years of experience in process piping and 3D modeling. The position focuses on creating 3D piping models and accurate layouts for EPC or process plant projects.

You will use AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage to build models from P&IDs, equipment GA drawings and vendor drawings, perform clash checks, and coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural and Instrumentation teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of piping drafting and 3D modeling experience in EPC/process plant projects.
• Hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage.
• Strong understanding of P&IDs, piping components, layouts and piping specifications.
• Experience in piping materials, MOC, supports, elevations, and clash checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D based on P&IDs, equipment GA drawings, vendor drawings and piping specifications.
• Prepare and check piping GA/layout drawings, isometric drawings, MTO/BOM and piping support details.
• Ensure proper pipe routing, equipment/nozzle connections, fittings, valves, flanges, reducers and branches.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural and Instrumentation teams for engineering deliverables.
• Perform clash checks and ensure accessibility, operation and maintenance requirements are considered in piping layouts.

Piping Draftsman / 3D Modeler

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Piping Draftsman with strong practical knowledge of process piping, piping layouts and 3D modeling, preferably in EPC or process plant projects.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

Develop 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D based on P&IDs, equipment GA drawings, vendor drawings and piping specifications.

Prepare and check piping GA/layout drawings, isometric drawings, MTO/BOM and piping support details.

Ensure proper pipe routing, equipment/nozzle connections, fittings, valves, flanges, reducers and branches.

Good understanding of piping materials/MOC, piping classes, supports, dimensions, elevations and coordinates.

Perform clash checks and ensure accessibility, operation and maintenance requirements are considered in piping layouts.

Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural and Instrumentation teams for engineering deliverables.

Desired Profile:

8–10 years of relevant experience in piping drafting and 3D modeling.

Hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage.

Strong understanding of P&IDs, piping components, piping specifications and layout requirements.

Experience in EPC/process plant projects; exposure to Sugar Plants, Power Plants or similar industries will be preferred.

Ability to independently handle piping 3D modeling and associated engineering drawings/deliverables
