Job summary

Amor Management Consultants seeks an experienced piping and routing design engineer for heavy vehicle applications. You will develop 3D piping models and create detailed drawings using Siemens NX, while generating and releasing BOMs through PLM tools.

You will coordinate with colleagues for design reviews and build audits to ensure proper integration. You will also review design changes, support issue resolution during builds, and ensure designs meet packaging, manufacturing, and vehicle

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in piping/routing or automotive design.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional and international engineering teams.
• Candidates with experience in commercial vehicle/automotive piping and routing design will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for pipe routing and layout design for heavy vehicle applications.
• Develop and maintain 3D models of piping/routing components and create engineering drawings using Siemens NX.
• Prepare and generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for piping and routing components.

• Coordinate regularly with engineering colleagues for design discussions, technical clarifications, and reviews.
• Participate in design reviews, vehicle build audits, and build-related activities.
• Ensure routing designs meet required design, packaging, manufacturing, and vehicle integration requirements.
• Review design changes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely implementation.
• Support issue identification and resolution during vehicle build and validation activities.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Piping & Routing Design.

• Good understanding of BOM preparation and management.
• Experience in automotive/vehicle design and build audit activities.
